At Stewart Marine Inc. located in Southern Maine, we build both floating and stationary docks. Our customers come from both salt and freshwater waterfronts . All our floating and stationary docks are built from Marine Grade “structural aluminum”. Marine grade aluminum is suited for the harsh conditions found in and around saltwater environments, and yet the aluminum docks are maintenance free. This material will not corrode, rust, rot, or deteriorate.

Unlike several of our lower priced competitors who are “reselling” a mass produced aluminum dock from an out of state factory, all of the aluminum docks and aluminum floating docks that we sell at Maine Dock and Gangway are built to order right here in our small southern Maine shop. All items are fabricated and welded in our shop using both TIG and MIG welding processes. When you email or call for a quote or to discuss a potential new dock build you will be speaking to the owner and fabricator.

Here at Stewart Marine Inc, we do not have a fancy showroom, we do not have brochures, we do not have sales people, and you will not see us standing at a booth at the county fair or home show. What we do have is “old fashion customer service”. YES, we respond to email quickly. Yes we provide answers to all your questions whether you have lived on the water all your life, or you just purchased a new waterfront property and this “dock stuff” is all new to you. We will be happy to explain all details and answer all questions long before you make an investment.

Stewart Marine Inc. has been building aluminum gangways, aluminum ramps, and aluminum footbridges for several years. Like all of our products, every detail of these items are built from scratch right here at our small family business in Southern Maine. We use a combination of both TIG and MIG welding processes on our aluminum gangways, aluminum ramps, and aluminum footbridges. All framing is constructed using Marine Grade Structural Aluminum, that balances strength and weight.

The beautiful maintenance free, barefoot friendly, non-skid, lightweight decking uses interlocking tabs, and is the best dock decking panel available. The decking is lightweight, which helps keep the overall weight down for easy install and uninstall each Spring/Fall. There is no maintenance needed. Just enjoy the beautiful cool surface with the flow-through design..
